Funeral arrangements set for children killed in house fire

LAS VEGAS (KSNV - Funeral services have been set for the two young house fire victims that were killed Thursday in the northwest part of the valley.

Siblings 4-year-old Cruz Flores and 2-year-old Ella Flores will have funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday at the Palm Mortuary on Jones.

Their parents, Stephanie Parriera and Anthony Flores, were hospitalized after the early morning fire Thursday on Riley Street near Ann Road and Durango Drive.

Donna Catalfamo, owner of Posare Salons where Parriera works, said she understands that the family has decided not to live in the home where the fire occurred.

"They bought the house just over a year ago, but don't want to go back there," Catalfamo said. "They are going to have moving and temporary living expenses."

People can donate at any Posare Salon or at any Wells Fargo branch under the name of Stephanie Parriera.

A hair cut-a-thon will also be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 30 at the Academy of High Design, which is where Parriera went to school.

The BMX bicycle community has been a major fundraiser for the family, and more than $38,000 has been generated through a fund at
