Road closures around the Las Vegas Valley

Here are the upcoming road closures across the Las Vegas Valley:

U.S. Highway 93 Lane Restriction February 9 - 10 in Henderson

The Nevada Department of Transportation announces temporary U.S. Highway 93 right travel lane and shoulder restriction for a 1-mile-long stretch between the U.S. Highway 93 onramp and Rail Road Pass in Henderson from 9 p.m., February 9, until 5 a.m., February 10. Crews are placing barrel railing as part of the $83 million first phase of Interstate 11, which calls for building a four-lane concrete interstate freeway between Silverline Road and Foothill Drive.

Charleston Blvd. Lane Restrictions Nightly Feb. 8 - Mar. 17

The Nevada Department of Transportation announces nightly lane restrictions along east and westbound Charleston Boulevard between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Shadow Lane from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m., February 8 through March 17, in downtown Las Vegas. The closures are required for placing new water and sewer lines as part of Project Neon - a nearly $1 billion 3.7-mile-long widening of Interstate 15 from the U.S. 95 interchange to Sahara Avenue.

MLK Freeway On-ramp Closed February 9-10 in Downtown Las Vegas

The Nevada Department of Transportation will close the Martin Luther King Boulevard on-ramp to northbound U.S. Highway 95 from 7 p.m., February 9, until 5 a.m., February 10, in downtown Las Vegas.

The closures are required for placing foundation footings and concrete support columns for Active Traffic Management signs that are being erected as part of Project Neon - a nearly $1 billion 3.7-mile-long widening of Interstate 15 from the U.S. 95 interchange to Sahara Avenue.

Casino Center Blvd. U.S. 95 On-ramp Closed Nightly Feb. 8-Mar. 3

The Nevada Department of Transportation will intermittently close the Casino Center Boulevard on-ramp to northbound U.S. Highway 95 nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., February 8 through March 3, in downtown Las Vegas.

The closures are required for placing foundation footings and concrete support columns for Active Traffic Management signs that are being erected as part of Project Neon.

Interstate 15 Lane Restrictions Through April 7

The Nevada Department of Transportation will close the inside lane 24/7 in both directions along Interstate 15 between the “Spaghetti Bowl” interchange and Owens Avenue in downtown Las Vegas from 9 p.m., February 6, until 5 a.m., April 7. There will be additional intermittent nightly northbound lane closures during the same time frame, too.

Bonanza Road / Casino Center Blvd. Lane Restrictions Jan. 23 - Mar. 7

The Nevada Department of Transportation will restrict travel lanes along southbound Casino Center Boulevard between Bonanza Road and U.S. Highway 95 in downtown Las Vegas from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, January 23 to March 7. In addition, travel lanes along eastbound Bonanza Road near Casino Center Boulevard will also be restricted during the same time frame.

The closures are required for placing electrical wiring for Active Traffic Management signs that are being erected as part of Project Neon - a nearly $1 billion 3.7-mile-long widening of Interstate 15 from the U.S. 95 interchange to Sahara Avenue.

U.S. Highway 95 HOV lane closures from Jan. 23 through March 31 in Las Vegas

The Nevada Department of Transportation will close the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes along north and southbound U.S. Highway 95 between Decatur Boulevard and Rancho Drive in Las Vegas beginning at 9 p.m., January 23, and continuing until 6 a.m., March 31.

In addition, there will be intermittent nightly left lane closures along U.S. 95 northbound between Rancho Drive and Decatur Boulevard from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. during the same time frame.

Casino Center Boulevard, U.S. 95 Onramp Closed nightly from February 8 to March 3 in Las Vegas

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will intermittently close the Casino Center Boulevard onramp to northbound U.S. Highway 95 nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., February 8 through March 3, in downtown Las Vegas.

The closures are required for placing foundation footings and concrete support columns for Active Traffic Management signs that are being erected as part of Project Neon.

Washington Avenue lane restrictions between Rainbow and Decatur Boulevards through March

Washington Avenue between Rainbow and Decatur Boulevards is under construction through March.

There will be continuous lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday, until the work is complete and the concrete is cured.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane on the side where work is in progress; two lanes will remain open for traffic traveling in the opposite direction. Motorists are encouraged to use Vegas Drive or U.S. 95 as alternate routes.

The construction project will improve sidewalk ramps and surface drainage. The project consists of the removal and reconstruction of sidewalk ramps, cross gutters, curb and gutter, and associated pavement patches.
