Make-A-Wish: Local 3-year-old cancer fighter throws first pitch at Dodgers game
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —
For this Make-A-Wish Monday, we're sharing the story of 3-year-old Benjamin "Super Benji" Sanchez. Benjamin wanted nothing more than to meet the Los Angeles Dodgers as he battles Carcinoma.
Baseball is his passion and his favorite movie "The Sandlot" has gotten him through many tough times. Benjamin says watching the Dodgers play is one of his favorite things to do.
Not only did he get to watch the Dodgers play in person -- when he and his family arrived at the stadium, they learned Benjamin would be throwing out the first pitch.
It's an experience he and his family will never forget.
