Make-A-Wish Monday: 18-year-old meets Seahawks QB Russell Wilson
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —
Maxfield Hambrecht was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when he was just 3 years old, and he spent much of his childhood in the hospital receiving treatment.
Now at 18, he's still undergoing daily treatments.
With relatives in the Seattle area, Max was introduced to the Seahawks football team as a kids.
Quarterback Russell Wilson became his role model, not only for Wilson's talent but also for his actions off the field and giving back to others.
Max got the chance to meet not only Wilson last year, but also head coach Pete Carroll and many of the players. He got to explore the city of Seattle as well, and most importantly, the Seahawks won the game!
