Jurors in the Thomas Randolph murder trial heard testimony from the mother of the man they convicted of plotting the murder of his sixth wife.

“This is where I should be as a mother, today -- to support my son,” said Dorothy Randolph.

This is the penalty phase of the Randolph murder trial. Prosecutors want jurors to sentence Randolph to death.

It’s expected the panel will begin deliberating the penalty phase on Friday morning.
