R. Kelly's scheduled performance at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has been canceled.

The performance was scheduled for Thursday, October 5.

The cancellation is after allegations came out that the R&B star brainwashed several young women into sexually exploitative relationships.

Several former associates of the "I Believe I Can Fly" singer have backed up the parents' claims, alleging he has brainwashed six women into "cult" like behavior and that he records his sexual encounters with them. He has strongly denied all the allegations.

R. Kelly, The Joint, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, and AEG Present apologize for any inconvenience this causes ticket holders.

Refunds are available at the point of purchase

Ticketholders should be aware of the following:

  • Credit Cards – Ticketholders who purchased tickets with a credit card will be automatically refunded.
  • Cash – Those who purchased tickets with cash may present tickets at the original point of sale for a refund.
