Police barricade comes to an end, suspect flees scene
UPDATE: Police report that the barricade situation has ended. The suspect was not found inside the home.
LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) -- A domestic violence call has led to a tense standoff between police and an armed suspect on Waterdragon Avenue near Washington & Mount Hood.
It was reported around 1:15 a.m. on Friday morning.
Police say that the suspect, who has barricaded himself inside a home, threatened to shoot three other occupants of the house.
The three other occupants were removed upon LVMPD's arrival, and police have reportedly attempted to talk the suspect out of the house over a bullhorn.
Flashbangs were also reportedly used during the standoff.
LVMPD is asking residents in the area to remain in their homes. Those who have left their homes have been moved into a nearby school.
