Go behind-the-scenes with Cirque du Soliel's 'Michael Jackson ONE'
LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) —
PART 2: Michael Jackson One Behind the Scenes
The moves, the magic, the man! Michael Jackson left a lasting impression on the world, and he's still bringing his music to people of all ages thanks to the magic of Cirque du Soliel, Michael Jackson ONE and Las Vegas.
News 3 and CW Las Vegas anchor Krystal Allan got an all-access pass into the world of Michael Jackson and Cirque du Soliel as she peeked behind the curtain of the hit show inside the Michael Jackson Theatre at Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.
From the newsroom to the stage, Krystal found out exactly what it takes to make it under the bright lights. She spent a day as an MJ One Girl, dancing with the other cast members to some of the King of Pop's most iconic songs.
Krystal has seen the show three times but never from the cast's point of view. The production showcases an eclectic mix of dance, acrobatics, and artistry.
The magic on the stage begins behind the scenes. Tiffany Baker is a Dance Master for the show. She teaches and arranges choreography. Baker says there's a common theme motivating the small army that works on the show.
"The videos that Michael produced had so much inspiration for young artists. It made you realize that you can grow up and do what you love. Turn your passion into a career," she said.
Michael Jackson ONE is celebrating three years in Las Vegas this June.
If you've been looking to check out the show, the summer months may be your best chance! Michael Jackson ONE is offering 15 to 20 percent off tickets. Check out the deals on their website here.
