Broken water main forces lane closures near Charleston and Lamb

Water Pipe Main Break (MGNOnline)

A break in a 12-inch water main has forced lane closures near the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Lamb Boulevard, according to a press release sent out by the Las Vegas Valley Water District.

According to spokesperson Beth Moore, the main broke on Tuesday night, but the lane closures remain in place through Wednesday morning.

Northbound Lamb is reduced to one lane and westbound Charleston is reduced to two lanes as the LVVWD repairs the main.

The public is encouraged to avoid the area.
