Multiple townhome units catch fire near Flamingo, U.S. 95

CCFD battling townhome fire near Flamingo, US-95. 10/06/17 (KSNV)

The Clark County Fire Department is investigating a two-alarm townhome fire near US-95 and Flamingo Road.

CCFD says they received a call a 6:48 p.m. to a possible building fire in the 4000 block of Gold Coast Drive.

When crews arrived, they saw flames coming from multiple units and a second alarm was requested.

A total of seven engines, two trucks, four rescues and two Battalion Chiefs were used to mitigate the incident.

The fire was extinguished at 7:13 p.m. with a first and second search completed without incident.

Investigators say there were no injuries to fire personnel or occupants of the building.

Southwest Gas and Nevada Power also responded to the area to secure utilities.

At this time, the fire is under investigation and damage estimates are pending.
