Chick-fil-A celebrates the grand opening of its newest Las Vegas restaurant
LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) —
For the third time this year, a Chick-Fil-A has opened its doors in Southern Nevada.
The lines began bulking up out front two days before when people started camping out, just like with the last two Chick-Fil-A openings in the Henderson area.
They have their reasons for spending all night on the asphalt. No surprise, it's food.
The first 100 people in line came cheering in this morning; each got to walk away with a gift card loaded with free meals for the year.
A big reason for many, even expectant mothers, to pull out the tent and sleeping bag.
"My husband thought I was just nuts. He's like, 'Yeah, I’m not going at five in the morning the day before.' But, you know, it's a nice adventure. Especially with a baby on board," said Krystal Wollard who camped out for nearly 24 hours for the free gift card.
The Sahara-Rancho location is open later than the Henderson restaurants. Their hours are 6:00 a.m. to midnight.
