Closing arguments set to begin in trial of doctor accused of drugging and raping patients

Suspended doctor, accused of drugging and raping his patients takes the stand. 5/18/17 (KSNV)

Closing arguments are expected today in the trial of doctor Binh Chung.

This after he took the stand in his own defense -- something no one expected.

Chung denied accusations he sexually assaulted any patients, but said he was having a secret affair with one of his accusers.

Chung told the jury the videos they saw that he recorded in his offices, where a victim appears unconscious, was actually just role play.

But prosecution painted another picture. They reviewed the recordings in front of the jury, asking Chung to explain why the woman he was having sex with was not moving if the scenario was role play.

Jurors were able to write questions to ask the doctor. All 11 of them were answered.

After closing arguments, the jury will get its instructions and begin deliberations.
