Young hockey fans in the area are in for a treat this weekend. The Vegas Golden Knights are kicking off their Sticks for Kids hockey clinic series on Saturday at Paradise Park.

Sticks for Kids is a free hockey clinic where kids ages 5-15 can come out and learn from the pros on staff at the Vegas Golden Knights.

Each clinic is aimed at teaching young hockey fans the basic skills of shooting, stick handling, and passing. Another cool part about these clinics is that all kids go home with a hockey stick so they can keep practicing.

The first clinic kicks off Saturday at 8 a.m. in Paradise Park located at 4775 S. McLeod. Another clinic will take place on Sunday at Desert Breeze Park and on June 3rd at Anthem Hills Park.
