Learn from the pros: Personal Safety Workshop
LAS VEGAS (KSNV NEWS3LV) —
After the tragic events in our city, it is EXTREMELY important for you and your family to have the tools and awareness to protect yourselves in a crisis or disaster situation.
On Wednesday, October 11, American Dream U & Nevada Benefits will be hosting a Personal Safety Workshop led by a Retired Special Operations Combat Veteran and a SWAT Operator. The workshop is being held at the Heinrich YMCA, located at 4141 Meadows Lane at 6:30 p.m.
In this workshop they will go over:
-Threat Awareness & Assessment
-Basic Crisis Preparation
-Basic Crisis Ideology & Response and more
This event is ALL AGES.
TO ATTEND THIS EVENT THEY ARE REQUESTING A $25.00 MINIMUM DONATION PAYABLE DIRECTLY TO THE LAS VEGAS VICTIMS' FUND.
1) You may bring a check made out to the "Las Vegas Victims' Fund". Please include the account # 979358819.
2) You can make a donation at any Nevada State Bank using "Las Vegas Victims Fund" and account #: 979358819. If you would like to donate at Nevada State Bank please be sure to bring a receipt with you to the workshop to show proof of donation.
3) We will also accept cash and will write a receipt for your records.
Nevada Benefits will be matching the first $5,000.00 raised.
