LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) —
The life cube in Downtown Las Vegas is about to be set on fire.
The event takes place every year, when artists and other people put their hopes and dreams inside and watch them burn!
You could call this our own version of the Burning Man Festival.
The life cube project, in its third year here now, was brought to southern Nevada by the founder of the Burning Man Festival - an annual event held every in northern Nevada..
The goal of life cube is to encourage participants to envision what they want to accomplish in their lives by expressing their goals, dreams, wishes and aspirations.
They write them on wish cards and deposit them into the cube. Tomorrow, they will light it on fire and watch it burn.
The idea is based on the artist's belief that "if you write down what you want to accomplish in life, the chances of attaining it are much - much higher.
The cube will be lit tomorrow night at 8:30, but festivities start at 12:30 with entertainment and musical performances.
The cube is located in the Llama Lot, across from atomic liquors in downtown.
