Robbers pistol-whip security guard, steal watches from Rolex store in Caesars Forum Shops
LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) —
Metro police have released surveillance photos of five men they say robbed a Rolex store in the Caesars Forum Shops.
It happened Thursday night just before 11 p.m. on Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo.
Adrian Rosales was leaving the H&M store when he heard a commotion.
"I just heard a lot of screaming I saw a big crowd in front of the Rolex store and I saw five guys run out. They had hoodies over their faces," said Adrian Rosales. "I was definitely scared," he continued.
The chaos caught Rosales by surprise.
"I heard what sounded like a really loud gunshot and a lot of people reacted. They heard it too," he explained.
What sounded like gunshots, was actually glass breaking.
"There was glass shattered everywhere. There was blood on the floor," he said.
Police say the gunmen pistol-whipped a security guard and smashed a display before they ran out of the store.
"They kind of pulled their hoodies straight out where they were each maybe carrying 20 to 30 watches and the last guy dropped maybe three to four of them on the way out," said Rosales.
"There were customers chasing the thieves afterward. They went through the service hallway," he continued.
The thieves got away and police hope someone will recognize them.
