LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —
A man died, most likely from a medical episode, when his vehicle rear-ended a Nevada Highway Patrol trooper in the west valley Monday afternoon.
The collision occurred about 3:30 p.m. at Cheyenne & Durango, according to Lt. Grant Rogers of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
"An NHP trooper was sitting at the light in a marked car when he was rear-ended by a car," Rogers told News 3. "He got out and administered CPR to the man, but he was already deceased. It might have been a heart attack."
No other vehicles were involved.
