Man suffers small chest wound after verbal confrontation in northeast valley
LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) —
A man suffered a small chest wound while a stabbing suspect was detained late Monday morning in the northeast valley.
Police said the 11:20 a.m. incident involved a verbal confrontation among several people in front of a residence in the 3200 block of Covey Lane near North Pecos Road and East Cheyenne Avenue.
The victim was walking around after being superficially stabbed and was later transported to UMC with minor injuries.
A suspect was taken into custody for questioning by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, according to Officer Laura Meltzer.
