MLK onramp to U.S. 95 Northbound closed June 1-2
LAS VEGAS (KSNV NEWS3LV) —
The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will close the Martin Luther King Boulevard onramp to U.S. Highway 95 northbound in downtown Las Vegas from 7 p.m., June 1, until 6 a.m., June 2.
They will also close Charleston Boulevard in both directions between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Desert Lane in downtown Las Vegas from 7 p.m., May 31, until 6 a.m., June 1, and again from 8 p.m., June 2, until 8 a.m., June 3.
The temporary closures are needed for construction related to Project Neon -- a nearly $1 billion 3.7-mile-long widening of Interstate 15 from the U.S. 95 interchange to Sahara Avenue.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate routes, if possible.
Check the Project Neon website for up-to-date information.
