Woman struck by vehicle after DUI crash near Las Vegas Boulevard, Bonanza
LAS VEGAS (NV (KSNV NEWS3LV) —
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says a 40-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle near Las Vegas Boulevard and Bonanza Road.
It was reported around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated a pedestrian was traveling west across Las Vegas Boulevard, in the north crosswalk of Bonanza Road, when she was impacted by a Ram pickup that was turning left from eastbound Bonanza Road. The pedestrian was knocked to the roadway and the Ram pickup was brought to a controlled stop.
The pedestrian was transported to UMC Trauma Hospital in critical condition by emergency medical services . The operator of the Ram, 24-year-old Felicia Webb, remained at the collision scene and exhibited signs of impairment from alcohol.
Webb was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and transported to the Clark County Detention Center. This collision remains under investigation.
