Right-hander Tyler Pill pitched seven shutout innings as the Las Vegas 51s edged the Albuquerque Isotopes 2-1 Sunday at Cashman Field.

Pill (1-0) has not allowed an earned run in five starts and 29.1 innings this season, including 19 straight innings over three starts with the 51s. He allowed 2 hits, walked 2 and struck out 3 on 93 pitches.

Travis Taijeron and Amed Rosario drove in the runs for the 51s (12-12).

The Little League Day/Bark in the Park promotion drew 7,494 fans — and 131 dogs — to Cashman Field. The series finale is set for 7:05 p.m. Monday.
