LVMPD: Suspicious package near 215 and Rainbow deemed safe
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has deemed a suspicious package near the 215 and Rainbow Boulevard safe.
Police received the call around 7:30 p.m. Monday night of a suspicious looking package wrapped in tape near the McDonalds in the 6900 block of South Rainbow Boulevard, according to Lt. Goron with LVMPD.
Just after 11 p.m. Monday night, police say Las Vegas City Bomb Squad rendered the package safe at the scene.
All roadways have been reopened.
