Police looking for suspect in armed robbery at casino near Flamingo and Koval

Officers are investigating an armed robbery at a casino just east of the Las Vegas Strip.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the armed robbery was reported Saturday at a resort/casino near Flamingo Road and Koval Lane.

The suspect approached the cashier cage with a handgun and demanded money from the cashier. The cage employee complied and handed him an indeterminate amount of money. The suspect then fled the property.

The suspect is described as a black man around 20-30 years old, standing around 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, around 150-160 pounds, and was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, tan pants, a ball cap, and sunglasses. The man was armed with a black handgun.
