Police search for suspect accused of robbing 2 clothing stores
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —
UPDATE, April 5 | Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say the same man has been accused of robbing two different clothing stores in Las Vegas.
The first case was reported at Rainbow and Lake Mead on Monday, April 2, with the second near Cheyenne and N. Las Vegas Boulevard on Wednesday, April 4.
Money and merchandise were taken in both robberies. The man used a weapon, though no injuries were reported.
ORIGINAL | The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for an armed suspect who they say robbed an employee at a local clothing store near Rainbow Boulevard and Lake Mead Boulevard.
The suspect, who was caught on video surveillance, stole money and a number of undisclosed items from the employee.
The suspect is described as a 25 to 35 year-old white male who is 5'8" to 5'9" tall and weighs between 170 and 180 lbs.
Police say the suspect has "at least some of the following tattoos:
- Tattoo on right wrist/top of hand
- Tattoo that looks like a skull on the back of the left calf
- Large tattoo on the back and front of the right calf/shin
