Project Neon to include lane and ramp restrictions downtown for next 2 weeks

The Nevada Department of Transportation will be doing Project Neon work the next two weeks. Please expect lane and ramp restrictions and detours as needed.

Sunday, Oct. 2 – Friday, Oct. 7

• Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. there will be lane restrictions on Desert Lane between Hastings Avenue and Pinto Lane.

Monday, Oct. 3 – Friday, Oct. 7

• Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., there will be lane restrictions on westbound Bonneville Avenue between I-15 and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 3

• Desert Lane will be permanently closed between Charleston Boulevard and Hastings Avenue.

• Hastings Avenue will be permanently closed between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Desert Lane.

Wednesday, Oct. 5

• Between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m., there will be intermittent closure of the ramp from I-15 northbound to U.S. Hwy. 95 northbound.

Friday, Oct. 7

• Between 9 p.m. Oct. 7 and 6 a.m. Oct. 8, the exit to Martin Luther King Boulevard from I-15 southbound and U.S. Hwy. 95 northbound will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to the Rancho Drive exit.

Through Friday, Oct. 7

• Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., there will be lane restrictions on eastbound Charleston Boulevard between Shadow Lane and Commerce Street

• Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., there will be lane restrictions on westbound Charleston Boulevard between Commerce Street and Shadow Lane.

Friday, Oct. 14 – Monday, Oct. 17

• From 8 p.m. Oct. 14 until 5 a.m. Oct. 17, motorists exiting I-15 northbound to Charleston Boulevard westbound (exit 41B) will not be able to access Grand Central Parkway.

• Traffic will be diverted to Charleston Boulevard westbound and detoured around to Grand Central Parkway.

Friday, Oct. 14 – Saturday, Oct. 15

• From 8 p.m. Oct. 14 until 12 p.m. Oct. 15, Grand Central Parkway and Iron Horse Court access to I-15 northbound on-ramp will be closed. Expect detours.

Through Nov. 15

• Ramp Closure: Martin Luther King Boulevard to U.S. Highway 95

Ongoing Work

• Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., there will be lane restrictions on Symphony Park Avenue between Grand Central Parkway and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

• Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., there will be lane restrictions on eastbound Alta Drive between Desert Lane and I-15

• Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., there will be lane restrictions on north and southbound Grand Central Parkway between Bonneville Avenue and Charleston Boulevard.

• Expect intermittent closure of the right lane on southbound Martin Luther King Boulevard near the U.S. Hwy. 95 overpass 24 hours a day.

• Expect intermittent closure of the sidewalk on the west side of Martin Luther King Boulevard between Bonanza Road and Mesquite Avenue at the U.S. Hwy. 95 overpass 24 hours a day.

• Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., there will be lane restrictions on Martin Luther King northbound and southbound at U.S. Hwy. 95.

• Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., there will be lane restrictions on northbound Martin Luther King Boulevard off-ramp from I-15/U.S. Hwy. 95.
