The Park celebrated it's first ever tree lighting ceremony with Santa Claus, carolers and more and News 3's Chloe Beardsley got the chance to take in all of the fun.

The lighting ceremony took place at the Toshiba Plaza, outside the T-Mobile Arena and adjacent to The Park.

The tree is adorned with 3,000 ornaments.

The Park was transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with ice skating rink and decorated throughout with white twinkle lights, branches sparkling with icicles, crystal blooms, and 16-foot-tall Ornament Tunnels.

MGM Resorts own team members, and the Army National Guard's 17th Sustainment Brigade, who just returned home from a 10-month deployment to Kuwait and Iraq, illuminated the 13,000 lights on The Park's 60-foot-tall holiday tree.
