United flight returns safely to McCarran after engine warning light activates
LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) —
A United Airlines 737 has returned safely to McCarran International Airport after an engine warning light activated shortly after takeoff for Houston on Monday afternoon.
United 301 had 173 people on board when it departed at 1:40 p.m.
After an engine light activated several minutes into the flight, the Boeing 737 returned to the airport, said airport spokeswoman Christine Crews.
The plane landed safely at 2:37.
United is working to find later flights for passengers.
