U.S. 95 southbound ramp to I-15 southbound reopened 2 hours early
LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) —
After a planned 36-hour closure for some preliminary work for Project Neon, a major ramp in the Spaghetti Bowl was reopened this morning about two hours earlier than planned.
The Regional Transportation Commission stated in an email that the U.S. 95 southbound ramp to Interstate 15 southbound was reopened at 7:46 a.m. Sunday. It was scheduled to be opened at 10 a.m.
Project Neon is the most expensive road construction project in Nevada history to ease traffic congestion between the Spaghetti Bowl and Sahara Avenue.
There are expected be hundreds of traffic issues before it is completed in 2019, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.
