The fairy tale world is hitting Las Vegas at the end of July.

New York Times bestselling author Chris Colfer, known for his Golden Globe-winning role as Kurt Hummel in Glee, is bringing his book tour to downtown Las Vegas.

The event, taking place on Sunday, July 30 at 4:30 p.m., will be held at the Historic Fifth Street School, located at 401 S. 4th Street in Las Vegas. It's just one stop of many on Colfer's book tour across the United States and Canada.

The interactive author event with Colfer, in partnership with Barnes & Noble, will treat attendees to an hour-long show that includes trivia, a costume contest, readings, and a Q&A, as well as a chance to win a private meet-and-greet with him after the event.

Colfer is a number-one New York Times bestselling author of multiple books for young readers, including the novels of his imaginative The Land of Stories series, including The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell, The Land of Stories: The Enchantress Returns, The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning, The Land of Stories: Beyond the Kingdoms, The Land of Stories: An Author’s Odyssey, the newest installment -- The Land of Stories: Worlds Collide, as well as the picture books The Curvy Tree and Trollbella Throws a Party.

The Land of Stories series takes readers into a world where reality meets fantasy. The highly-anticipated conclusion to the series, Worlds Collide, follows protagonist twins Connor and Alex and the Land of Stories fairy tale characters -- heroes and villains -- who are no longer confined to their world. The twins will face their biggest battle yet as mayhem brews in the Big Apple.

Action, humor, and heart fill the conclusion of the series.

Recently announced, Colfer's first novel in the series, The Wishing Spell, will be adapted to film by Twentieth Century Fox. Colfer is set to write the screenplay and direct the film, along with 21 Laps' (Netflix series Stranger Things) Levy and Dan Levine producing the adaptation.

The Land of Stories is not Colfer's only work in the literary world. In 2012, he released a companion book to his film Struck By Lightning -- which he wrote, starred in, and acted as executive producer -- called Struck By Lightning: The Carson Phillips Journal, as well as releasing another Young Adult novel, Stranger Than Fanfiction, in 2017.

Colfer's role on Glee earned him numerous accolades including a 2011 Golden Globe, multiple People's Choice Awards, and more. He had served a pivotal role in the series from its premiere in May 2009 to the series' finale in March 2015.
