Don't miss the Easter egg hunt on April 8 at Whitney Park


On Saturday, April 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Whitney Park, Commissioner Mary Beth Scow is teaming up with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Clark County’s Parks and Recreation Department and other community partners to host the third annual `Easter Eggstravaganza’.

This free, family event will feature egg hunts for children ages 2 to 12 along with face painting, balloon art, candy, baskets and a variety of carnival games.

Egg hunts for ages 2 to 4 will begin at 11 a.m.; ages 5 to 8 at 11:30 a.m.; and ages 9 to 12 at 11:45 a.m. Parents are only permitted to help children ages 2 to 4. Adults won’t be allowed to help older children during the egg hunts. Families are asked to bring their own baskets for the egg hunts.

The park is located at 5712 Missouri Ave., just west of Boulder Highway.
