Connecticut plane crash caught on camera

A pilot was injured after a small plane crashed in a Connecticut parking lot Monday morning, and it was all caught on tape.

Plainville police say the 1981 Cessna 172 crashed behind a business -- Carling Switch -- That is adjacent to Robertson Field Airport. The plane was seen on security footage hitting a tree and slamming into the ground.

79-year-old Manfred Frost, the plane’s pilot, was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Frost said that he was going to breakfast when the plane crashed.

THE crash is currently being investigated by the FAA.
