Las Vegas Lowdown | Ethel M Cactus Garden, Tony Bennett, and Aviation Nation air show

Las Vegas Lowdown (KSNV)

Check out what's planned in Las Vegas for Halloween weekend in this week's edition of the Las Vegas Lowdown.

ETHEL M CACTUS GARDEN

The lighting of the cactus garden at Ethel M's is a tradition -- but now they're adding something new to the holiday display!

With Ethel M's very own ice skating rink, guests can now skate just steps from the holiday cactus lights and Santa in the all-new Winter Wonderland Pavilion.

Visitors will also be able to take photos with Santa Claus, receive complimentary chocolate samples, enter for raffles, and more.

The holiday cactus lights will run from 5-10 p.m. Nov. 7 through Jan. 1. The ice skating rink will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 7 through Jan. 1.

Ice skating prices range from $10-20 per person per hour, varying by time and day.

Each ticket comes with a complimentary cup of Ethel M Chocolate's signature Double Hot Chocolate.

Ethel M Chocolates is located at 2 Cactus Garden Drive in Henderson.

Legendary entertainer and 19-time Grammy winner Tony Bennett is wrapping up his show 'Tony: The Best is Yet to Come' at Wynn Las Vegas.

Performed at the Encore Theater stage on Nov. 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, and 11, the show includes many of Bennett's greatest hits, including "Watch What Happens", "Steppin' Out With My Baby", "San Francisco", and more.

AVIATION NATION AIR SHOW

Nellis Air Force Base is hosting the Southern Nevada community for the Aviation Nation air show and open house.

Held Nov. 11 and 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, attendees will get to experience exciting aerial acts, static displays from the past and present, and get a chance to meet the Airmen who carry out the Nellis mission.

Nellis' Airmen are excited for the chance to say "thank you" to the community for the support given each and every day for their mission, the U.S. Air Force "Breaking Barriers since 1947."

The celebration will include the Air Force's 70th birthday and will be held at Nellis Air Force Base, located near the intersection of Craig Road and Nellis Boulevard.
