The Bishop Gorman High School football team, coming off its first loss in more than three years, hosted Miami Central High School Friday, a team ranked 16th in the country.

The UNLV Football team looks to bounce back from last week's season opening upset loss to the smaller school, Howard, when the Rebels play at Idaho Saturday.

Chiefs safety Eric Berry ruptured his left Achilles tendon in the fourth quarter of Thursday night's victory in New England. The three-time All-Pro suffered the season-ending injury while covering Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski on a passing route.

Ezekiel Elliott's six-game suspension is now on hold.

A federal judge has blocked the suspension over a domestic violence case, setting the stage for a potentially lengthy legal fight with the NFL over the Dallas Cowboys running back.

You can watch the Cowboys host the New York Giants, Sunday on News 3.

You can also catch Vegas Golden Knights rookies in action Saturday.

Practice starts at 10:30 am.

The team's inaugural rookie camp continues at City National Arena near Downtown Summerlin through Monday.

It will be top seed Rafael Nadal against Kevin Anderson in Sunday's U.S. Open men's final.

Saturday's women's final will feature unseeded Sloane Stephens against No. 15 Madison Keys.

It's the first Grand Slam title match for both and is the first U.S. Open final between American players since Serena Williams beat Venus Williams in 2002.
