In honor of Veterans Day and Remembrance Day, the Vegas Golden Knights will host a Military Appreciation-Remembrance Day on Friday, November 10, when the team welcomes the Winnipeg Jets at 7:30 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena.

The Golden Knights organization said players will wear specialty camouflage jerseys during warmups, and some of those jerseys will being auctioned, with all proceeds benefitting the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation and Folded Flag Foundation.

Additionally, according to a team press release, fans who attend will get “a unique Vegas Golden Knights branded Military Challenge Coin giveaway and military-themed program poster.”

The team said proceeds of the VGK Foundation 51/49 Raffle Friday night will go to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and military support initiatives, and that current and past military members will be honored throughout the night.

Like Veterans Day in the United States, Remembrance Day is an annual holiday in Canada, honoring those who have served and continue to serve their country.
