Las Vegas 51s' Borenstein to compete in Triple-A Home Run Derby

The Las Vegas 51s' Zach Borenstein will take part in this year's Triple-A Home Run Derby, according to minor league baseball officials.

Borenstein will be one of three players to represent the Pacific Coast League in the 2018 tournament, part of the Triple-A All-Star Game in Columbus, Ohio.

The 51s outfielder has 19 home runs for Las Vegas, tied for second in the PCL with fellow derby participant A.J. Reed of the Fresno Grizzlies.

The Triple-A Home Run Derby is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Monday, July 9, and will stream live on MiLB.com.

The Triple-A All-Star Game is set for Wednesday, July 11. Borenstein is one of six outfielders selected for the PCL roster.
