Sports Saturday: Colorado State routs UNLV; 4th-straight loss for Rebels
LAS VEGAS (KSNV News3LV) —
It was a rough afternoon for Coach Marvin Menzies and the Runnin’ Rebels at the Thomas & Mack Center as they dropped their fourth-straight game, 69-49 to Colorado State.
The Rebels trailed by 7 at the half. A 14-3 spurt by the Rams to begin the second half helped put the game away. UNLV will now head north to face first-place UNR on Wednesday night.
Katie Powel scored 11 for the Lady Rebels in Fort Collins, but they also came up short falling to Colorado State 44-41.
