On the two-year anniversary of legendary Coach Jerry Tarkanian’s passing, the Rebel basketball team lost a sixth-straight game in the Mountain West Conference.
The Rebels had a five-point lead over San Jose state at the Thomas & Mack Center, but the Spartans hit a go-ahead shot with 14 seconds to go. Jovan Mooring couldn’t answer at the buzzer, and the Rebels fall despite a 28-point effort by Tyrell Green.
