Local slugger Bryce Harper had a potentially disastrous night against San Francisco on Saturday night as the former MVP left the game with a serious knee injury.

Harper slipped across a wet bag at first base trying to beat out a play and jammed his cleat into the dirt hyper-extending his knee and sending him high into the air.

Harper was helped off the field and will have an MRI on Sunday.

The Raiders kicked off the preseason with a game at Arizona. Most of the Raiders top players did not see any action and the Cardinals won the game 20 -10. The Raiders will host the Rams next Saturday night.
