Sports Saturday: Rebels rebound for 44-16 victory at Idaho

After an embarrassing loss last week as 45-point favorites against Howard, the UNLV football team went on the road and handed Idaho a 44-16 loss.

Lexington Thomas rushed for 190 yards and three touchdowns for the Rebels (1-1), and Armani Rogers added a 95-yard TD pass to Devonte Boyd in the win.

UNLV will have a bye week next week and then face No. 2 Ohio State, which lost to fifth-ranked Oklahoma on Saturday.

Louisiana Tech faced a 3rd down and 93 in its game against Mississippi State.
