The Clark County Zoning Commission will address several land use permits connected to the NFL stadium project at its Wednesday morning meeting.

County officials in a Tweet on Tuesday announced that the Federal Aviation Administration had approved of the stadium plan that will host the NFL’s Raiders.

Some of the waivers that will be addressed include reducing the number of parking spaces required from 16,250 to 2,375; allow off-site parking in conjunction with the facility; and increase the building height to 225 feet, where a maximum height of 100 feet is the standard, a 125 percent increase.

Construction of the stadium on the 70.6-acre site at 5617 Dean Martin Drive is expected to begin in December and be completed three months before the start of the 2020 NFL season.
