Pro Sumo Wrestling league coming to Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Sports boom continues with Sumo Wrestling
The Ultimate Sumo League will begin its inaugural season with a 40-match tournament inside of the Park Theatre in April. Athletes from all over the world are expected to come and fight in a double elimination format for the championship.
Ultimate Sumo League president & CEO Noah Goldman made the announcement. Following the news, six-time U.S. National Sumo Champion Robert Daniel gave commentary while 12 time U.S. Sumo champion Dan Kalbfleisch took on international Sumo Champion Soslan Gagloev of Russia who fights professionally in Japan.
The sport originated in Japan more than 1500 years ago. The rules are simple, the wrestler called the rikishi has to knock their opponent on the ground or get their opponent out of the ring called a Dohyo.
