Southern Nevadans go crazy over Golden Knights merchandise
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —
The Vegas Golden Knights rallying cry was heard loud and clear at the Arsenal inside the City National Arena. Golden Knights fans stormed the aisles looking to get team hats and shirts.
Tasha Edwards says it is an unbelievable season and hopes it only ends with a Stanley Cup celebration. For now, Edwards is on the hunt for memorabilia.
“It is insane, everybody I know completely obsessed. Like a bunch of stuff,” says Edwards. “I am coming to look for round three picks to see if they have any vs. Winnipeg. I do not see them here.”
According to Fanatics, the Golden Knights have sold more merchandise since the start of the playoffs compared to the previous two months combined.
Scott Wainright is one of the many fans buying merchandise for the first time. “I love it. I have never been into hockey until this year to the Golden Knights. It has been amazing,” says Wainright.
Colene Articone says it will be amazing when the Knights take care of business up in Canada when they take on the Winnipeg Jets.
"We are totally confident. We got this and we are rooting for them because we standing behind the Knights," says Articone.
