You can catch Michelle in the early mornings on "Wake Up With The CW" and weekdays on "News 3 Live at Noon."
Michelle joined the News 3 team in February 2011 after spending four years at KSNV's sister station in Yuma, Ariz. Michelle split her time between the anchor desk and out in the field and covered several notable events from the Baja California Easter Sunday quake to the historic Arizona immigration debates.
She also discovered adventure and excitement: Skydiving with the Army's Golden Knights; backstage on the set of "Jeopardy"; a live on-set interview with presidential candidate and Senator John McCain. Michelle was also very involved in the cancer community and devoted a lot of her time to all the major fundraisers and cancer-related events.
Before moving to the Desert Southwest, Michelle lived in San Diego where she attended San Diego State University and earned a degree in Journalism and Political Science. It was in America's Finest City where she got her start in the news biz.
Over the span of three years and three different stations, Michelle worked her way up from an intern to a producer and then made the move to Arizona to start her broadcasting career.
Born in Fresno and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Michelle considers herself a true California girl! She loves the warm weather and would take a sweltering summer over a long dreary winter any day! When Michelle isn't working you can find her in the gym teaching Zumba, her favorite Latin-inspired exercise. She loves dancing, snowboarding, boating, hiking and any kind of dessert.
