Alta Wellness Center offers free 'Coping with Traumatic Events' support group
LAS VEGAS —
Alta Wellness Center, a mental health and wellness agency, will be offering a free support group to the community: “Coping with Traumatic Events.” Available to locals every weekday from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Oct. 3 – 13, 2017, this group will offer coping tools and emotional support for anyone who may be struggling with immediate and long-term effects of trauma and loss. The support group will be held at Alta Wellness Center: 6655 W. Sahara Avenue, Suite E100, Las Vegas, Nev., 89146.

From the victims, their family members and friends, through to Las Vegas’ courageous first responders, the skilled therapists of Alta Wellness are compassionate care providers, equipped to support the short and long-term impact of these traumatic circumstances,” says Chief Executive Officer, Asher Adelman.
Led by highly qualified licensed therapists and therapist interns, the groups and classes held at Alta Wellness Center are based upon principles of individual, family, and group therapy, as well as best practices from the field of psychology.

Classes and groups help individuals, couples and families better manage anxiety, fear, anger, stress, depression, grief and loss.
