Two local organizations gave Las Vegas' historic westside a facelift earlier today. starting with The Andre Agassi Boys and Girls Club.
"Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada and "Republic Services" are teaming up to help those who can't afford renovations.
About 180 volunteers joined in to help touch up and remodel several parts of the property.
They're hoping their dedication to helping others will get the message across.
"It's a part of us and who we are as an organization. To get out in the communities, to come out on a Sunday and have about 180 volunteers spend their personal time in the community wanting to give back," said Bryant Thornton, Market VP of Republic Services.
Republic Services has donated about $60,000 to help the historic westside as part of its national neighborhood promise grant.
