Isolated to scattered storms are in the forecast again Wednesday...

TODAY: High temperatures in Las Vegas will be a few degrees lower compared to yesterday with top temperatures reaching around 87 degrees. Winds will be out of the south 5 to 15 mph.

Low pressure slowly moving from Southern California into the Southwest will bring unsettled weather to the region. The best odds of active weather will be in the local mountains with an outside chance of stormy weather in the valley. Any rain that does fall should remain light but we are also tracking lightning & small hail associated with these storms and wind gusts around 30 mph possible.

Pollen levels are ranked 'high' for sage, wormwood & ragweed. We're also seeing 'moderate' levels of pine pollen, juniper & cedar in Clark County.

TONIGHT: We'll see a few scattered high clouds this evening with overnight valley low temperatures around 68 degrees. An overnight shower will be possible as well, mainly in areas north of Las Vegas.

TOMORROW: Mountain shower chances will stick around through Thursday (20% chance on Mt. Charleston) with storms decreasing around the region as the low pressure system that brought the unsettled weather moves more to the east.

WHAT'S NEXT... Temperatures will slowly climb through the rest of the work week through the weekend with valley highs in the low 90s through Friday and mid to upper 90s Saturday & Sunday.

Afternoon highs will be a few degrees away from the triple-digits Sunday and on Monday but east side valley neighborhoods which typically trend warmer, may reach 100 degrees.

Our next weathermaker is another area of low pressure arriving at the start of NEXT week, bringing another round of winds & mainly mountain showers/t-storms Monday & Tuesday.

Beyond the 7-day, valley highs are forecast to be in the low 90s under partly cloudy skies from NEXT Wednesday to Friday.
