Comedian Dave Chappelle and musician John Mayer are teaming up for a hybrid show on the Las Vegas Strip next month.

Live Nation announced that Chappelle and Mayer will present "Controlled Danger" at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, Dec. 30.

The two friends have played several pop-up shows across the U.S., according to Live Nation, but it's the first time they'll perform together in Las Vegas.

The first half of the performance will feature a solo musical set from Mayer and a solo comedy set from Chappelle. They'll join each on stage for the second half for songs, stories and more.

Tickets start at from $45 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16. Tickets can be purchased online at ASX.com.

One caveat: Cell phones won't be permitted. All phones and smart watches will be put into secure Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show, according to Live Nation.
