Las Vegas (KSNV) — A road in Death Valley National Park has reopened ahead of the long weekend after reported flooding in the area last week.
Crews worked to remove the dirt and rocks from the road which closed on Saturday, May 20 due to safety concerns after flash flooding.

Officials say several park visitors attempted to drive through the flooding but luckily no cars were swept off the road. Several vehicles had to be pulled from the mud, officials say.
