Five ordinary concertgoers turned heroes on 1 October were honored in San Diego.

On Monday, a former marine and his friend -- who found a truck with keys inside and managed to take more than a dozen people to the hospital -- were honored.

Two police officers -- one who was there with his wife -- were also honored after helping move a fence to get people to safety.

All five were very grateful and humbled by the honor.
