Southbound Interstate 15 has reopened after it was closed at the Cajon Pass for a 19-vehicle crash Wednesday morning.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department said the crash was reported south of Oak Hills.

The initial patient count is 35 people, according to the fire department. Injuries range from minor to moderate, and most people are declining transportation to a hospital.

Weather is a contributing factor, the fire department says. A fog advisory was issued for I-15 through the Cajon Pass, according to CalTrans.

CalTrans reported at 11:15 a.m. that two lanes were back open on the highway. All lanes were back open by about noon.
